EE is typically delivered in 12 one-day workshops, but it may be delivered using 6- or 3-day versions. Each lesson presents tools and strategies that build skills and habits of high performance, leadership and character through the Wheel of Excellence© in a variety of ways. Skills are developed through professional and additional organizational activities that illustrate core concepts. Once leaders demonstrate a firm understanding of these skills, they are able to universally apply the tools and strategies to real-world situations they face throughout their lives. Throughout the program, executives discuss situations in which they used, or could have used, the strategies they have just learned. They are then encouraged to use the new skills daily, so that these new skills become habits.
